
TeaScapes™ Spirited Break
Spring Break is one of our signature teas that can be enjoyed as a wonderful tea cocktail for any special occasion. You can enjoy this fruity Sri Lankan black tea over ice or pair it with a light rum. We used the Brinley Gold Shipwreck White Reserve Rum www.brinleygoldshipwreck.com
Ingredients:
8 oz of cooled Spring Break signature black tea
1 oz of clear rum
Ice
Orange, lemon or lime slices
Steep 8 oz of TeaScapes™ Spring Break tea by using 1 teaspoon of loose tea leaves in a tea infuser or one tea bag in a cup or teapot. Add 212 degree F temperature water and steep for 5 minutes. Remove infuser/tea bag and allow the tea to cool.
Mix cooled tea with 1 oz of clear rum.
Pour into a 20 oz glass over ice and add fruit slices. Serves one person.
